Activities: Top 5 activities to do by boat
You have finally booked your relaxing week or weekend aboard one of our Set Sail boats! Boat rental is often ideal for relaxing, having fun, discovering new horizons, or simply discovering or introducing the nautical world to you and your loved ones! We have selected a list of 5 activities to do on board our boats during your stay, whether long or short, with the added bonus of our mini playlist for each activity.
Relaxing time on deck
If there is something we dream of in these times of health crisis and restrictions, it is a moment of relaxation in the sun. Take time for yourself, to rest, to read a good book, or simply to listen to your music or that of the waves.
Recommended music: A good little “Boa Sorte” by Ben Harper and Vanessa Da Mata will always do the trick.
Paddle ride
One of the most popular activities. Have you ever wanted to walk on water? Test your agility with the paddle! Available for rental on our boats, take a relaxing break, letting yourself slide on the water, and reach spots inaccessible by boat for the pleasure of the eyes. Don’t forget the sunscreen though..
Recommended music: Calm and peaceful music, “Better Together” by Jack Johnson
Scuba diving
The seabed always has many surprises in store for us. Scuba diving is the ultimate sea activity. Set off to explore the seabed with a mask, snorkel and fins provided with your rental. We strongly advise you to avoid areas with strong currents and not to forget your surface buoy, particularly in recreational areas.
Recommended music: You’ll be too far away to hear it.
Culinary Spree
In addition to renting our boats, we offer refueling for your shopping directly on your boats. However, it is entirely possible to fish your lunch directly from the sea. The Mediterranean Sea has a lot to offer in terms of food (sea bream, sea bass, squid, sole and prawns). However, we advise you to find out beforehand about the areas where fishing is authorized. Once you’re done fishing, let your culinary imagination do the rest.
Recommended music: The essential Paolo Conte and his song “Via con me”.
Explore the landscape around you
After lunch, if some prefer a nap, we recommend several activities such as going on an adventure, equipped with your backpack and your walking shoes. Boat trips are also about land adventure. It’s time to awaken the adventurer in you but also to impress your friends or loved ones.
Recommended music: “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak to listen to while letting yourself be lulled by the landscape.
